Does this jacket fit, or is it too large at the hips?

Trying on my first suede leather jacket, and despite being snug at the chest, it feels very loose at the hips/stomach (and even flares a little at the bottom).

With the leather stretching, does this get better over time? Or do I just need to find a better fitting jacket?
