The image attached is what the device looked like, it was an old rusted bowl partially filled with water. Placing an object in the water had a certain effect on people and the environment in the continent the bowl was located on (there was one bowl per continent). The wish being granted depended on the object that was placed in the water, it could have been a note with plain text or any item.

The story of the dream took place in Antarctica that had climate similar to that of Central Europe. The bowl was located in a deadly maze and some brave soul decided to risk their life to have a wish granted, after completing the maze they threw in a note with the text "change us" and then I saw a little animation of the affected area on the map (that's how I know this took place in Antarctica). The person who completed the maze was later hated, because they were supposed to write "change me" on the note instead.

Now for the effect. It granted people perfect bodies they wish they had, BUT it also attached a live fish thru a cord to their bodies that they had to keep alive otherwise they would die. The dream continued following a single person who was very satisfied with their new body, however they were slowly going insane as they got fed up with maintaining the fish. Then I woke up.

That's not the end of the bowl's story, I managed to fall asleep again to continue the dream with partial lucidity this time. I wish I dropped in something more interesting, but due to my half lucid state, I dropped a cirno fumo of all things. I haven't seen any people to note the effects, but I did see the landscape. The sky turned dark, there was some fast blue auroras in the sky, the ground froze over and of course muffled "Scarlet Police on Ghetto Patrol" could be heard from a distance.

There was also a robot toy dropped into the water, but I'm not willing to elaborate since the effects were absolutely vile.
