I suck a long range but still have fun with my cheap set up

Visiting family in Idaho and they have a really good public range. Lots of steel targets out to 500+ yards. This is my 4th or 5th trip to this range.

I shoot a Savage Impulse Predator in 6.5 CM with a 20” barrel and a Discovery Optics 5-25 milrad scope (half a notch above an Arken 😂). This trip was using Norma Gold 130 g. This was a 3” hex plate at 532 yards. Wind was light coming from 9-11 some small gusts.

Sorry about the video (cheap amazon spotting scope but it works for now). There was another shooter shooting at the plates to the right and I had my spotting scope on the bench I was shooting from (eventually moved it to the ground and got more stable video)

Not the best setup but it works for me and my budget and like I said I have fun. The worst day at the range is better than the best day at the office.
