A reminder: your lock is only as strong as what you're locking it to...
Shepherds Bush Station, I'd guess it was cut with pipe cutters, so silent to do.
That's my Litelok X3 and before I got it I was well aware that I could easily just lose a £250 lock ontop of the bike.
You can use the Sheldon Brown method, but that's a little more delay, or they just cut nearer the base and take the whole thing to work on elsewhere.
