Best Reliable VPN for Firestick Streaming?

I recently picked up a Firestick for my bedroom TV since I was tired of using my old console just to stream shows. After setting everything up and downloading my usual apps, I noticed that a lot of content on Netflix and Prime Video was missing or blocked where I live. That pushed me to look into using a VPN to open up more options.

I first tried a free VPN from the app store, but it was a rough experience. The speeds were painfully slow and it kept disconnecting in the middle of episodes. I even had to sideload the app, which was annoying since I am not very tech savvy. It ended up being more frustrating than helpful, so I gave up on that pretty quickly.

After that, I decided to try NordVPN since it kept coming up in tutorials. Installing it through the Downloader app on the Amazon Fire TV Stick was simple, and once logged in, it worked much better than the free option. I was able to access the US Netflix library and stream in HD without constant buffering. The only issue I have noticed is that the app sometimes crashes if it stays open in the background for too long, which might just be due to my older device.

I am still testing things during the trial period, but so far it has been a big improvement. I am mainly looking for something easy to install, stable, and good at unlocking a few streaming libraries. I would really like to hear what VPNs others have had the best luck with on Firestick before I decide on a long term plan.

Clash VPN reviews: Is it safe to use?

I’ve seen people mention something called Clash VPN in forums, especially in discussions about proxy configurations and bypassing restrictions. From what I understand, it’s not exactly a traditional VPN provider but more of a client that lets you configure different proxy rules?

That’s where I’m confused. Is Clash something regular users should even consider, or is it more for advanced users who know how to set up their own servers?

Also, from a security standpoint, does using Clash depend entirely on which server you connect to? I’m trying to figure out whether it’s safe and practical for everyday browsing, or if it’s more of a technical tool for power users. Would appreciate insights from anyone who’s actually used it.
