My watches. I think I will classify them as hEiRlOoMs that my future son will inherit one day.
Why do so many people have a sexual attraction to buying watches and claiming they’re tools to pass on to their kids as heirlooms?
Seems most of the guys who call their watches tools that are meant to be abused are usually the least rugged of the bunch with soft hands who thinks taking their watch on a brisk hike is using it to its fullest. Like no dude, it’s just jewelry.
Also, your kid is 1. She doesn’t and will never care about your polar explorer 2 or twodoor gmt.
I’ve had this vintage Omega Seamaster DeVille for a few years now but it’s only been used a handful of times to the point I planned to sell it. Found some Himeji Kurozan straps in Japan and at least to me it made a big difference in my perception of this watch.
I also got a brown version but unfortunately got the wrong size. Guess it’s a happy mistake because the brown version does fit my moonwatch 😉
NOT your fake end game watch that you end up selling for another one a year down the road. Nor is it some watch that has been produced a million times that took you years to save for, that anyone can get by swiping a card.
There were only like a million of these made. Such a gRaIL.
