getting a job in france as a foreigner?

hi everyone, my partner is french and it's looking like i'll move there. Im likely going to do an M2 next year in bioarch. I am worried about the job market there, am I screwed? assuming i get to french fluency, what are my chances?

Is this timeline realistic?

So I’m Australian, my partner is French and I’m planning to immigrate. In October we are having a civil marriage in France and hopefully then I can get a spousal visa. Thing is I would like to study at the end of next year and if I have a spouse visa I can pay French rates. Applications are in February next year (I think?) but I don’t know if payment situation wouldn’t come into play until end of September next year when class actually starts. So really my question is how long will it take to get my visa? I have heard French processing times can be ridiculously long. Also when I first arrive in October what visa should I come on? Any advice appreciated

Edit: okay it’s actually a residency permit saying you’re a spouse. Here it says you can apply after one year, have I got that right or am I missing something?
