It’s a very long story, but I’ll try to keep it as short as possible.

One of my friends met a girl on Instagram during lockdown. They got into a relationship that lasted almost 3 years. During this time, they had constant fights. One day she would block him, the next day he would block her. Since it was his first relationship, he was very possessive, and they even shared each other’s Instagram passwords.

At some point, he found out that she was talking to another boy, which led to a huge fight. She stopped talking to him, but he started going to her school and threatening her. One day, the girl’s father called him and warned him to stop chasing his daughter or face serious consequences. Somehow, her father even involved his college VC. When my friend asked how her father found out, she said that a neighbour had seen them together and informed her father.

Later, my friend created a fake Snapchat ID pretending to be a girl from her skating class. Through that account, he casually mentioned that a new boy was interested in her but that he had told him she already had a boyfriend. She got curious and asked for details. When he asked about their breakup, she said that my boyfriend used to threaten her that if she talked to other boys or blocked him, he would reveal everything to her father, so she told her father herself.

After this, he revealed his identity, and she immediately blocked him. They had no contact for over a year. Around the same time, I moved out of the city for college.

One day, she connected with me on Snapchat and started talking. I thought it was my friend pretending to be her because the typing style was similar. So I answered honestly to everything she asked, which was my mistake. In doing so, I revealed some things that she had heard differently earlier. She confronted my friend and made me look like the bad guy. Yes, I was wrong, but still.

Because of this, my friendship with him almost ended. Meanwhile, they got back together. I distanced myself from both of them and avoided him in social gatherings since we live in the same colony.

Today, he called me and told me that for the past year, they had been talking again and even got physically involved. During this time, she asked for many expensive gifts, especially after she started college.

Recently, he found out that she was talking to another guy, a uniform guy. When he confronted her, she apologized, and they got back together again. However, she would sometimes mention that other guy, which irritated him. One day, he checked her Instagram and found that she was still talking to him. Their chats were not just flirty but also inappropriate, and the guy was asking for intimate photos. Apparently, they never met and only connected through Instagram.

After this, my friend went to her college, and some drama happened. She told the other guy, who then called my friend and threatened him to stay away from her.

Today, my friend received a cyber complaint call for online bullying from someone claiming to be a police constable. However, his relative is in the police, so he questioned the caller about the station and senior officers. The caller got nervous and disconnected.

Now, my friend wants revenge. He says she was the one who pushed him to get back into the relationship, but then she cheated on him. On calls, she says she wants to be with him, but on chats, she talks to the other guy. He also wants his money back, and the other guy is apparently ready to pay, but more than that, he wants revenge. He is even thinking about confronting her father because of what happened earlier.

Now he is asking me how to initiate this conversation with her father. Honestly,I do not want to get involved in this mess again after what happened last time.But a part of me still wants to help him, since he was once a very close friend of mine. What should I do.

Where do teams exactly go once a match ends? For example, after yesterday’s match, they likely returned to the hotel, but what happens next? Will they stay in Gujarat for the next couple of days? It doesn’t really make sense to go all the way back to Bengaluru, but staying in Gujarat for 2–3 days doesn’t seem ideal either.

Do they travel directly to Lucknow, or do they go to Raipur (their new home ground)? There’s almost a one-week gap before RCB’s next match, and before that LSG will travel to Mumbai to play MI!! so where do the players actually go?
