Hi everyone,

I’m having a weird issue with the ABS system in my 5th gen Prelude. The ABS light comes and goes completely at random. I can drive for a few days with no issues, and then it suddenly pops up while driving on a straight, smooth road. After a few more days, it might disappear again.

I pulled the codes and got:

• 53 - ABS Pump Motor stuck ON

• 81 - Central Processing Unit (CPU) failure

Has anyone dealt with this specific combo?

Is there any "easy fix" or a specific connector I should check, or is the unit's electronics simply toasted?
