Say what you will, but this is a timeless design

I bought it to play ancient games and write a memoir.

I’m tired, boss

I’ve been trying to give the PW4 a fair shot, but at this point the combination of the watch and the Fitbit app feels like a paid beta test masquerading as a “premium health platform.”

PW is the most elegant, stylish looking smartwatch on the market but health metrics are becoming borderline unusable when combined with Fitbit app. The bugs are relentless, the metrics are comically off. The most frustrating part is that Google markets this ecosystem as serious health tech. If you’re charging premium prices and encouraging people to rely on these metrics for wellness tracking, the data should at least be internally consistent. Right now it feels like everything is stitched together with duct tape, vibecoded slop, and biryani. And instead of fixing the fundamentals, Google is busy slapping a new “Google Health” sign over the thoroughly enshittified Fitbit app. PW 4 is excellent hardware, but goes in the drawer - at this point I can’t trust anything the watch and/or Fitbit app report.
