Okay, it wasn’t the best looking potato salad in the world, but I didn’t think it looked toxic or anything. Was that just another way of everyone shunning her? Even the kids sneered at it.

People were avoiding it like the plague. It reminds me of that Mad TV skit where a woman brings pasta salad to a work pot luck, and nobody wants to eat it and they keep avoiding it until she finally loses it and has a break down. Everyone feels guilty, so they try it much to her relief. Then, it cuts to a headline reporting everyone being dead and how the notorious pasta salad killer strikes again.
