I visited an estate sale that certainly reflected a life well lived. Last day, and it was already pretty well picked over. There were still a few rods and reels, but nothing that would fill a space in my quiver. I did come away with this vise and a small pile of books though!

Is anyone familiar with the accessory in the second photo? It just clips or slides onto the stem of the vise. I’m thinking maybe tube fly adapter, but it doesn’t seem to be tapered at all?
