Hello. The following is the result of a hyperfixation and caffeine. Please enjoy.

Quick note- I do not claim to be an expert on the HSR lore. It is entirely possible I misinterpreted some stuff. Please feel free to let me know if I did.

PART 1: The Improv Tour trailer.

Silver Wolf was born on Punklorde, a planet where everybody's life is predetermined from birth via their cartridge. A Punklordian's cartridge can be anywhere from LVL 1-99, and there is no way to level it up. The higher the level, the higher the person's fixed social standing for their entire life. Silver Wolf however, was born a street orphan, and didn't have a cartridge. This made her LVL 0. Because of this, she was treated as living garbage, and was forced to struggle for scraps. One day though, on a random whim, Aha decided to send down a special cartridge to Punklorde. Silver Wolf was lucky enough to find it, and it gave her the ability to increase her level.

Now being the only Punklordian capable of improving themselves, Silver Wolf quickly rose through the ranks, and sooner or later, she reached level 99. Now considered a living legend on Punklorde, she was faced with one final challenge. One last game. However, she was hesitant to face it. She was worried that once she reached her peak, she would never be able to find challenge in anything anymore, and her life would become inescapably boring. But despite her hesitation, she accepted the challenge, meeting the mysterious elation figure. (It's still unconfirmed exactly who this is, but the prevailing theory as of the time I'm writing this is that they're some kind of avatar of Aha THEMself, so that is who I'll assume it is for this write-up).

Aha and Silver Wolf sit down for a simple fighting game 1v1. THEY reveal to her that her cartridge doesn't peak at LVL 99. She has the potential to become much, much stronger. THEY ask her why she is so focused on obtaining power, to which she responds that the "why" doesn't matter to her. She simply wants to. Then, the fight ends with Aha pausing Silver Wolf in time, and effortlessly defeating her. THEY cheated. The challenge was unfair, and this was by THEIR design. The challenge was unfair, because life is unfair. THEY then tell Silver Wolf, "May you always stay this weak." This was not meant as an insult, but instead to say "May you never reach that forever-boring peak. May you always have challenges, and may your life always be fun." I think THEY were pleased with her attitude about "enjoyment over reasoning." And so, despite having lost the battle, she passed the challenge.

Aha returns her to the planet's surface, where she begins laughing hysterically, something of a parallel to Aha's own acension to Aeonhood. I think this is the moment she became an emanator of Elation, or at least gained Aha's approval. She levels up to LVL 101, and becomes one of the few hackers to leave Punklorde, her potential for growth now limitless.

PART 2: The Myriad Celestia.

The Stellaron Hunters track down Silver Wolf, looking to recruit her. At this point in time, she was at LVL 300, but had been stagnated there for some time. She initially isn't all that interested in the Stellaron Hunters' proposal, but they reveal that they know about her stagnated level, and offer her an opportunity to break yet another limit. This opportunity comes in the form of another Silver Wolf from one of Elio's potential future timelines. (Apparently Elio has the power to conjure people from alternate futures, or something to that effect. Does this mean he could summon HertaTomb if he wanted to? Just a thought.)

Anyway, this alternate Silver Wolf, who from this point on I'll refer to as αWolf, is at LVL 999, and has a very impressive list of feats. She completely brought down the IPC, united the Galaxy Rangers, Hackers, and Masked Fools under her very own empire, found and breached Device IX, and supplanted Polka Kakamond. All this considered, she could potentially be one of the strongest non-aeon characters in the Star Rail universe, and yet... in Elio's prediction, she still failed to prevent the Four Apocalypses in the end. αWolf doesn't understand why Elio thinks Silver Wolf will be any different, but according to Kafka, it's because Silver Wolf doesn't believe in limits.

The two Silver Wolf's engage in battle, which predictably, doesn't start well for our Wolfie. αWolf "kills" her 429 times, but she returns to keep fighting every time, and eventually catches αWolf off guard, taking her arm, and literally stealing her levels, and her power along with it, gaining hundreds of levels at once. This turns the tide of the battle, until Silver Wolf completely destroys αWolf, and reaches LVL999. (Also possibly the moment she became an emanator?)

In doing all this, the Stellaron Hunters have effectively cheated reality, allowing Silver Wolf to unlock LVL 999 much earlier than she was meant to. Because of this, she doesn't yet know how to control this new power. Also, because her power comes from the Elation, it has the potential to interfere with Elio's script, apparently being one of the only forces in existence that can do so. (Which makes sense. The Finality is all about predicting things, and The Elation is all about being unpredictable.)

Because of those two reasons, the Stellaron Hunters hold onto Silver Wolf's cartridge until she can learn to control her newfound power, which would possibly even allow her to reach a power comparable to the gods. and with that, Silver Wolf joins the Stellaron Hunters.

PART 3: The Animated short.

Not quite as much to talk about here, but what we do get is definitely interesting. Silver Wolf goes on a little side quest, hacking into Planet Screwllum and facing off with Screwllum himself, despite Elio having told her not to.

Silver Wolf and Screwllum fight. (Quick note, both of them are using virtual avatars here, so they "technically" aren't actually fighting. Neither of them are trying to actually kill each other.) Screwllum manages to get her on the ropes, but Silver Wolf activates LVL 999, genuinely shocking Screwllum. He confirms that Silver Wolf got that power before she was supposed to, and worriedly implies that Elio may have unleashed something dangerous. Silver Wolf proceeds to lay absolute hands on Screwllum, but is suddenly interrupted by αWolf, who appears to still be dormant within the cartridge. αWolf attempts to take over Silver Wolf's body, forcing her to deactivate LVL999.

Screwllum, having been literally torn apart, (even though it is just a virtual avatar) knowing he won't be able to defeat Silver Wolf like this, resorts to forcibly undoing her hack, kicking her out of Planet Screwllum. Back at the Stellaron Hunters base, Silver Wolf is put in a little jail for a week as punishment for taking her cartridge and cheating on missions. She doesn't take it well.
