Is this normal?

So just fed my hognose snake and he nudged the mouse on the wall , this may be me being paranoid (first time snake owner ) it if it normal for him to try and eat the wall?😅 don’t want him to eat any substrate while trying to eat the wall or if it’s harming him ?
Trying to get him to move without touching him (since iv heard you don’t really want to be touching them once they have eaten) so I can wipe the surface down so he will hopefully stop ? Any tips on that too would be appreciated 😅

(I ment millipedes)

Iv been given a african train millipede and need help with reliable substrate to be kept in as iv heard many conflicting things about a few , I have at the moment coco fibre substrate but iv seen some worrying things and afraid to use it as a main source (I do have leaf litter and moss)as he’s currently In a small container as I’m scared to put him on the coco substrate in fear something may happen to harm him ,

Any advice at all will be really appreciated!
