I’m new here and just getting started on Reddit. I’ve recently been working on a small project focused on cyber awareness—mainly tracking and sharing information about common online scams and suspicious activities.

The idea is to break down how these scams work, share real examples (with proper caution), and help people stay a bit more informed so they don’t fall into these traps. I also try to highlight cases in a way that gets the right attention, but my main goal is awareness.

I’m still figuring things out, so I’d really appreciate any advice on:

- What kind of posts people here find most useful

- How to present information clearly without overdoing it

Recently, We’ve come across multiple instances where individuals are selling their Gmail accounts for small amounts of money.

This may seem harmless, but it carries serious risks.

When you sell your account, you lose control over how it is used.

These accounts are often exploited for activities such as scams, impersonation, and other forms of cybercrime. Since the account is originally registered in your name/number, any misuse can potentially be traced back to you.

This could lead to:

• Account misuse for illegal activities

• Loss of personal data

• Possible legal consequences

It’s important to understand that a few rupees is not worth the long-term risk.
