hiiiii. so i went to the doctor today for the reta trial (i’m in triumph 7) to get my next batch of medication. starting week 5 today. moving up today to 4mg of active meds or placebo. didn’t lose much weight at all month 1 on 2mg (i lost a ton on tirz years ago), but the suppression (and headaches which i never have) are there. when they did my measurements they were shook because it was such a vast change though. i lost 8cm around my waist in a month, so basically 3 inches lost around my waist but down less than -5lbs when it comes to the scale.

i’ve been doing 10k steps a day, in a deficit, and i lift with my trainer 3x a week. i have about 70 more lbs to lose so kinda expected more. the highest dose of tirz i ever did is 5mg. i know it could just be body recomp, but tirz seemed to change the numbers on the scale a lot easier. is this normal on reta? will i see more weight loss on the 4mg? i’m gonna take it tonight before bed.

i’m just so tired of feeling and looking this way and ready to see a change. thank you guys!!

just updating here, definitely don’t think i’m on placebo. since taking the first injection i’ve been extremely tired around the clock. i also haven’t had any hunger signals at all since injection #1. i can eat and not be hungry and feel satisfied before, during and after. also, i had my last meal at like 4:30p today and ate and feel completely satisfied. also, i used to have a mini dr pepper almost everyday and since the shot i’ve had 0 desire for any soda at all. my stomach today felt hollow, like nothing was in it but no growling. foods i used to binge, i can now have a few bites of and be good. after my meal last today, i started feeling exhausted and a bit of a headache. outside of that, no other side effects. i also walked like 2 miles today and came in early bc it was raining.

i’ll keep an eye on it for sure to make sure i’m not imagining things. really will be paying attention to my hunger signals more than anything. thank you!
