Hello! I just got my second pigeon to which she was shipped to me. She was in transit for around 5 days and now she’s home but she lifts her leg oddly while she’s walking. She’s only been home for a few hours, I’m wondering if maybe she’s just stretching her leg like maybe just walking oddly due to the long transit time. Could this be normal? Nothing looks visibly wrong with her leg
I’m getting my pigeon a mate, she comes next week! While i originally planned on getting her her own cage, the one I purchased is not at all what I thought it was so I’m planning now to have them share Edwin’s cage with a divider between them (rescue recommended this!) But unfortunately, Edwin snuck in while I was putting the divider in the cage and refuses to leave so I can’t take it out. Long story short, is it okay to leave it in there until she comes? It divides his space by half but he free roams almost all day when I don’t work. Should I leave it in there so he also has time to adjust to the lesser space? Tyia!
