How the heck do i get enough hydration?!!

Not only am I trying to get some nutrition, even though my hernia likes to blow up my stomach if there's too much in there, I'm also struggling to get hydrated.

Four times now I've had to have IVs because I wasn't getting enough by drinking water, mostly liquid diet, etc. and was dehydrated ...

As the day going on in particular I notice my stomach starting to distend and get uncomfortable. I try sipping water with electrolytes in small amount throughout the day. I stop doing nutrition (bone broth, protein shakes, keifer, mushy stuff like pears, applesauce, whatever) because I start feeling full and uncomfortable. Usually three or 4 o'clock.

I still keep trying to sip liquids but it gets hard and by the time I go to sleep, I am just drinking a little bit because I get thirsty.

But the only advice I ever get is "eat small, frequent meals" and "be sure to stay hydrated and keep drinking water all day." Yes, I know I'm trying.

I've had it with medical care

I'm sitting here losing a pound a day, frequently getting dehydrated because I am in so much discomfort and if I eat or drink, , my stomach becomes distended, blah blah blah. I've had all the CT scans and x-rays and it all points to my hiatal hernia being the only issue.

Went to see a gastroenterologist and she basically said well all we can do is a endoscopy, I don't know what else you want from us.

Also having regular migraines that are debilitating, blah blah blah, and regular doctors won't help and I can't get into see an opto neurologist until the end of the month and that's just for a consult.

ER doctors are just looking for heart attacks and strokes ... regular doc just wants to prescribe more pills, and specialists ...first of all take forever to see and then once you see them, they're dismissive and give you the same damn advice there are the things you're already doing.
