Age demographic

Bit of an odd question, but are older students common? I went to school at 18, decided I didn’t know what I wanted to do. Left, built a very successful career making more than I ever would in engineering but it was in sales and knew I’d hate it if it was the rest of my life. Returned to school, maintained a 4.0 in CC then transferred. Got accepted but my experience in CC felt weird, I’m 26 now, and I enjoyed bantering with the other students, but hanging out and making friends with someone who was 20/21 felt weird. Is the age variance larger or kind of the same?

I’m aware 26 and 21 being friends and shooting the shit isn’t that odd, but something about it feels off

Tuition Classifcation

For some reason my tuition got classified as out of state. I looked through my submission and nothing on it would indicate out of state.

I’ve lived in MD for the last 5 years, my address is MD, my license is MD, my work is MD, my cars are MD, etc. has anyone had this issue before and how much of a hassle is it to get corrected? I’ve emailed resclass@umd.edu and waiting to hear back
