Finding a cardboard bike box on a holiday/long weekend after a 2000 km bikepacking trip—urgently seeking help!
Bonjour, everyone!
In 1.5 weeks I am leaving for France on a bikepacking tour, starting in Saarbrücken Germany, through Verdun, Paris, and Normandy. St. Malo, Rennes, and Nantes, and will finish in Bordeaux.
My flight goes back on the 26. May, which is a Tuesday, in the morning. My plan was to find a bike shop on the 25^(th) for a cardboard bike box, but to my horror I just realized this is a holiday. So Bikestores will be closed.
I am not sure if I can make it till Saturday to get to an open store.
Anyone having recommendations or ideas, on how I would get a bike box on a Sunday or Monday? At the airport there is a DHL Express; maybe they have boxes? Or the touristic bike rental spots?
I’ve tried to figure out if the airport itself offers packaging for bikes, but it seemed uncertain.
I’d appreciate any information and help!
