Hi all, I am based in UK and will be getting a mini screw retained hyrax expander next month.

Any advice on how to prepare? What should I be expecting on the day of the appointment? What's the pain like and should I take time off work? How long does the pain last? How BIG are these screws because from what I saw online I'm terrified 🙈

Any other advice would be appreciated.
