I'm posting this as a warning so no one else makes this mistake. My C: drive hit 0 bytes today, and Planning Mode suggested deleting a .tmp file and other "tmp folders" in the C: drive to free up space. I misunderstood the scope of this suggestion and gave it the go-ahead. It turns out the "tmp folders" it targeted included massive chunks of my User and AppData directories. By the time I realized what was happening, I had gone from 0 bytes to 126 GB free.
