Hello all I just started a new job and they have a decent sized sandblaster that’s really fun to use and I was wondering with 36 grit media if it is ok to use to prep stainless and carbon parts for tig and flux core welding, thank you!!

Edit: I meant to ask if weld contamination is a possibility from the media
