What movies you like when you were young, but hate when you get older?

Forrest Gump - I really liked it when I was young. Just it was full of positive and hope. Things would get better no matter how worse they were.
But I now just completely hate the movie. Forrest basically hasn't been working hard to get anything. All the things just come naturally. And people who fought against their fate are suck. And the ideology is about "God has a plan" or "God will provide".
Nothing will come to me without efforts. And all the people around me are working hard to achieve what they had.
And also I notice there are so many similar movies like Forrest Gump during 80s-90s. like Cinema Paradiso, etc.

Is this a good idea to downsize from 2 bed semi detached houses to 2 bed flat?

Currently I live in a ex council 2 bed semi detached houses. I don't really like it. It is cold, expensive to heat, too much garden works ( approx. 80 sqm) every week. And it is a bit larger than I need. And not that cheap to maintain, I have been spending over 2k on fixing the roof and fence.
The only thing I like is quiet; the sound insulation is not bad. I am looking for an apartment or tyneside flat. Anyone have similar experience, moving from house to flat? I am just a bit worried about service charge. It seems totally unpredictable.
