Got a non Muslim friend who keeps borrowing from me. Never really said no so now she’s already owing me around 81k and hasn’t been great with paying back on time like before. After that she asked for another 1 lakh I gave it told her it was from a “friend” so she’d return on time she still paid a couple days late but I let it slide
Now literally 2 days later she’s asking for 4 lakhs because she overspent on her wedding. She thinks I know lenders and said she'll give 20% interest when returning. I don’t know anyone if I give it it’s my own money😭
So my confusion if I take that 20% but she calls it like a thank you or gift instead of interest is that okay or still not allowed. My mom says don’t take it just lend but also said if someone gives extra willingly later it might be okay
I can obv give her the 4 lakhs since it’s just sitting in the bank making small profit anyway so I’m thinking can I take like 20% since she’ll return it in a month
