More sensitive to the sun?

Hi all! I'm a new contact lenses wearer, I just got them two weeks ago. I wear the Acuvue Oasys with Hydraclear for astigmatism, the bi-weekly ones. I noticed that when I am wearing my contacts outdoors during the day, I am constantly squinting, even on a cloudy day. I am a teacher and now that the weather is nicer I am spending a lot of time outdoors with my students, and I also take public transportation home, which is also outdoor time. This is not an issue at night or when I am indoors. I am wondering if this is something common, and if it's something that I will get used to/will go away. Any advice is appreciated!

Hi all. First time contact user, I am still on my trial pair from my doctor. They are bi-weekly lenses, I've had them for about 6 days so far. My left lense feels like its a bit blurry and I am wondering if I can take it out, clean it with the solution, and then just put it back in for the rest of the day without soaking. I wore them to work but I have something going on tonight that I would prefer not to wear glasses to but I will if I have to. Thanks!

Hi. I (20F) was diagnosed with high prolactin and started on cabergoline (0.25 twice a week) at the end of February. I had an MRI done and they weren't sure if they saw a prolactinoma or not and my endo wanted me to start on cab anyway, I have a follow up appointment at the beginning of July to check levels and maybe see if I need another MRI done. The reason I checked my hormones in the first place is because I was having bleeding between periods, and during both cycles I had since starting cab I still had bleeding in between although it was lighter than it was before starting cab. I was wondering if this is normal and they will eventually regulate or if that means my prolactin is still high.

Just as an aside, during all the bloodwork I had done prolactin was the only one that was irregular. I also had a pelvic ultrasound done that came back clear. However my endo is kind of suspecting that PCOS may be in play but I'm not so sure, especially since my gyn said that its likely not that. I have a feeling he may have said that because of my weight but I'm not sure. Just want answers and want to get back to normal.

Irregular periods is pretty much the only symptom I've been having. I have also been having some anxiety but I started therapy around the same time I started cab and its been getting better, not sure if I can blame the anxiety on the prolactin since it was kind of a relapse of anxiety I had in high school that popped up due to some other life changes.

Hi all. A few years ago (i think i was 18 at the time?) i saw my eye doctor and she changed my prescription and added astigmatism (don't remember exactly what it was) and I absolutely hated it. I felt like text on the TV wasn't sharp anymore and the signs in the classroom where I worked weren't clear anymore. It was driving me insane. I went back to the doctor and she said some people don't like astigmatism and she removed the astigmatism from the prescription and made it a bit higher to compensate for the lack of astigmatism. This was fine. Now that its nearly three years later I go to my optometrist to get fitted for contact lenses and he gives me an astigmatism (as well as raising the prescription by a quarter point in my left eye). I told him that in the past I've been given an astigmatism in my glasses and I hated it. He told me point blank that I need astigmatism and I will see much better. So I get the trial pair of contacts in the new prescription and guess what, I have the exact same problem. It feels like my eyes are working harder to see, and text on the TV or on Alexa in my home are blurry, as well as around my classroom. I don't know what to do anymore. I am hesitating to order more contacts or to make a pair of glasses with the new script because of this. Is this normal? Did anyone else feel like astigmatism made their eyes work harder?

My dad has an astigmatism as well and I spoke to him about it and he pretty much said that if two doctors have told me that I need an astigmatism, that means I probably do. But I know my eyes and I know I'm not seeing as well as I was in my glasses. But also, this is my first time wearing lenses and am wondering if that can contribute to the issue.

FYI, here is my current contact lense prescription if it makes a difference:
Left eye: -4.50, CYL -1.25
Right eye: -4.00, CYL -1.75
