Question for you folks. Obviously the Nissan Z forum was full blown in favour of the trade.

I have been eyeing the new Nissan Nismo Z for a little while. What are your opinions on that vehicle? I understand it's slower than the Scat and more track oriented. I understand the engine bay is crammed and might be less reliable than the good old Hemi 6.4. And yes I know it only comes with an automatic transmission, which I'm fine with. My Scat is a 6MT but feel I need a break.

I'm on the fence. If you had a killer deal would you make the trade? The Z's are currently overpriced, and so were the Scats in 23.

I feel the Z might be more of a "fun" car however I wonder if I will regret not keeping the presence and simplicity of the NA V8.

Good morning! So I have been torn the past few days. I currently own a 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Widebody with the 6MT. The car is great and does a lot of things right, it's an amazing cruiser, it's reliable and easy to work on. However the Nismo Z got my interest. I also own a 2025 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X and absolutely love it (totally different purpose, just stating for the fact I like "niche" Nissan products).

One thing I'm concerned about is how crammed the engine bay is on the Nismo. How hard is it to work on realistically?

Have any of you had any reliability issues? Turbos blowing or overheating concerns?

Is the automatic on the Z improved from the performance?

I've watched a ton of reviews but just wanted some real life input from owners driving these cars on the daily. Thanks a lot.
