New Fig Owner
TLDR; Hey yall, a couple of weeks ago I went to Lowe's and got a few plants. My first spring at this house and I was wanting to start it off right. One of the acquisitions was an Olympian Fig. I'm a beginner to owning plants in general. Figured it'd be a good idea to attempt to benefit from yalls expertise.
The nursery pot might be a 5 gallon pot. I was planning on potting it in the next few days in the barrel in the picture. I have a few different bags of soil but after using Ai I think I'm going to try and use 80% happy frog 20% perlite. Keep it in the green house for about a week or so to give the roots some time to set in to the new pot and then slowly transition it to outdoor life as the temps get warmer. Green house is about 70-80 degrees but it can get up to 80-90 pretty easy. I think I'm going to pot it either tonight or tomorrow. Opinions, advice, criticism are welcome.
