How much do you think Lucy has changed?

How much do you think Lucy has changed?

When she talks to Max in Season 1 and invites him to come with her, she's still the same Lucy from the Vault. But in the season finale, the foundation is pulled out from under her.

  1. Her faith has been taken away. She believed in the mission of her Vault and believed in its safety. She thought the experiments in Vault 4 were an isolated incident. But Vaults were designed for experimentation from the start. And so was her Vault 33.
  2. Her purpose was taken away. She was supposed to find her father, return home with him, and live her old life. Perhaps with Max. But her father turned out to be a monster, worthy of punishment, not salvation. And now Lucy is no longer yearning to return to the place that was her home. She's following her father. And she's ready to respond in his way—erasing his personality.

Do you think a person whose worldview has been destroyed can remain the same?

What will Cooper do with his family if he finds them?

Cooper has been searching for his family for 220 years. This goal keeps him alive and from turning feral. It keeps him from blowing his own brains out when the going gets tough.

https://preview.redd.it/tpvi1kxyz6ug1.png?width=787&format=png&auto=webp&s=c75bb44068b5df1945ac37475fc38b15036229f4

But what will Cooper do with his family if he finds them? Does he want to reunite with them and live together? Or is he simply of hyper fixation on finding out what happened? When Cooper talked to Lucy in Vault 24, I thought he was prepared for them to be dead.

If he knew for sure that his wife and daughter lived and died of old age in one of the Vaults, he'd be at peace. But if they're frozen, and if Barb isn't an Enclave member, what will he do? Will Cooper take them with him? Where and why? His daughter is 12 years old, and with a father like that, she has every chance of adjusting to the new world. But his wife is about 45. She was a senior executive, and her only physical activity was Sunday yoga. She'd say to hell with that life and crawl back into the cryocapsule. I imagine Cooper, having found them and ensured their safety, would leave them a note and depart with a clear conscience for new adventures.

Lucy and Cooper: Opposites or Mirror?

When the heroes meet in Philly, they're literally - black and white. An experienced and ruthless bounty hunter and a young, inexperienced girl ready to help anyone she meets.

https://preview.redd.it/1a0zlx9mjztg1.jpg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eb4fa1daffa7ba09e82168413bd3e4fae78ed54e

When they next meet, Cooper says she'll become like him, given time. Lucy saves his life and says she'll never be like him.

But who is Cooper? And what could Lucy become?

When we watch flashbacks, we see a Cooper who loves his family, values his friends, and the Golden Rule is not an empty phrase for him. Time, circumstances, and the people around have changed him. He's adapted and become accustomed.

A week after out to the surface, Lucy douses a man with acid. Later, she kills her ghoul mother, puts on a bloody show with ghouls for Cooper (though she's high on drugs), and without hesitation kills a "clerk" in a store and a "computer" in a Vault. Lucy, too, is adapting and changing. She's killing more and more easily. Cooper was right. Lucy has every chance of becoming like him.

Lucy and Cooper need each other (as friends and dear people! Not as lovers!) to balance each other. Cooper has the strength to keep her from falling into the same abyss he fell into. And Lucy has the patience to pull him back from it.

Lucy will never again be the sweet girl from the Vault, and Cooper will never again be who he was before the war. But they can help each other, remain human.

What relationship did you like in the series?

What relationship did you like in the series?

For me,

https://preview.redd.it/7ly41oo0nltg1.jpg?width=825&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c03d613dba28d4a925a59ceb6e1637fd8537250

#1 Lucy and Cooper. I love stories where characters are opposites and gradually find common ground. They have great adventures and bright arguments. They started off badly, but they continued well. I'm really looking forward to seeing them in season three.

#2 Maximus and Thaddeus. They're very sweet and funny. Like couple #1, they're also very different. Maximus is kind and not very smart, while Thaddeus is cunning and a little selfish. I liked them back in season one, and my love for them only grew stronger in season two. In season three, I'd add Dane to their ranks. They'll make a great trio.

#3 is Norm and Claudia. They only appeared in season two, but they quickly hooked me. A boy from the Vault and a girl from the Old World. That's the only romance I'm willing to see in this series.

Who did Cooper interfere with before the war?

We know that just before the war, Cooper was labeled a communist, lost his career, and was forced to work children's parties to pay alimony to his ex-wife.

Who did this to him and why?

Vault-Tec would have blamed Barb, not Cooper. After all, only she knew how to obtain cold fusion. And if Barb were an ordinary employee, they would have destroyed her life.

The Enclave doesn't fit either. Cooper gave them the cold fusion and was convinced he had prevented the war. He made life easier for the Enclave and went to Los Angeles.

The only person who benefits from Cooper's elimination is Barb. I believe she works for the Enclave (an ordinary person, even if she's a member of Vault-Tec's management, wouldn't be transported from California to Nevada and then even further after the war) and took advantage of the moment to transfer the cold fusion to her own people, blame it on her husband, and get rid of him. Cooper is too close to her and has already shown he doesn't trust her enough. He would have started noticing something odd and digging further.

Barb has created enough problems for her ex-husband to keep him from even thinking about the end of the world.
