My friend needed a plumber urgently last week.
He searched on Google and opened multiple business profiles.What was interesting is he didn’t even call the cheapest option. He skipped profiles with:
blurry photos outdated information unanswered reviews
incomplete details. He kept saying things like: “This one feels more trustworthy.” That sentence stuck with me.
Most customers don’t deeply analyze businesses.
They scan quickly and trust their instincts.
Which means a neglected Google profile may silently push customers away before the business even gets a chance. I think many small businesses underestimate how psychological local search really is.
