These are my firefly petunias! The glow on them keeps getting better but I think this is about maxed out, which is honestly amazing. They’re noticeable when your eyes get adjusted to the dark but honestly not bright enough at this current moment to throw any light far. I’m not 100% sure how big they will get but that’s also part of the experimenting this year.

Last year when I tried to plant firefly petunias a heatwave came through and absolutely fried them and they just couldn’t bounce back. I have learned from my mistakes and I’m keeping it in an easily moveable pot for the inevitable heat waves. Stay cool out there yall!

It doesn’t help that Ella is an orange girl, poor girl got stuck for 5 minutes watching the mosquito lol

I’m sorry for posting these so much but Oml look how beautiful the flowers are!! They glow better when they’re happy, the glowing pics were from the previous day when there were 5 blooms, now there is 7 lol. Rainwater and miracle grow potting mix and she’s a happy girl

The latest round of rain has made the firefly petunia grow like CRAZY. The flowers are just sooo pretty!!

BETTA FISH NEED AT LEAST 10 GALLONS TO BE COMFY. Someone at work was saying how they’re used to living in jungle puddles and it just wasn’t worth the energy lol.

Working in IT this is also the case with every other call I’m taking lmfao, “my laptop restarts when I put my magnetic case from my phone on it” or a personal favorite “my keyboard is typing when I put my stapler on it”. I tried to keep a list of the funny ones but I just couldn’t keep track anymore.

Ella likes to come outside with me when I check on the garden! So far everything has her approval and is growing beautifully but she’s more so worried about the pest control lol. She is only allowed outside with the pink vest on, there’s no negotiating this with her, she would be an absolute MENACE to the local bird population lol
