Is $1,600 interest on a $4,500 loan bad?

Hi, me again. So i'm trying to get a loan from prosper. They are taking a $444.51 cut from my loan (so i'm "getting" $4,944.51 from loan) and i'll be paying a total of $6,100 in a 3 year span. $169.86 a month with a 21.14% APR.

Am I paying too much or this is how loans are?

Need Help with 5k loan or low apr credit card.

So update with my loan, its not going well at all. So because I have $1,333 on affirm (technically a loan) no one is approving a loan or credit card. I tried to apply for chase slate card, declined. I tried to get a loan through chase, declined. I tried to get a loan through navy federal, declined. I tried to get a loan through USAA, declined. I tried to get a 15 month 0 apr credit card from USAA, declined.

I'm at a loss on what to do since no one is accepting anything. I work in the food industry making 16.50 and 30,000 a year. I'm 23 years old and work full time with overtime. I'm trying to get a $4.5k - $5k loan or low apr credit card.

Does anyone have a bank or site that could help me?
