hi this is my first oil painting and I’m trying to finish it by June, but I’m just not satisfied with how it’s looking. Highlights are giving me the most trouble, I think. The first photo is of the painting and the second is a lightened-up photo of my cat, which I’m using as a reference. What can I do to make it better?
