Prediction for the Kelly Green and Black Jersey Games

I think we’ll be wearing Kelly green three times at home and black once at home. Because we’re playing Dallas on Thanksgiving this year, I don’t think we’ll be able to wear color for any of our road games this season, so no Kelly green road game like last year which I’m happy about. Kelly greens should only be worn at home. My predictions for the games are:

Kelly Green:

Home vs Giants

Home vs Washington

Home vs Colts

I think wearing Kelly green against the giants will become the new tradition instead of wearing black, and I think they’ll wear them against another divisional opponent in Washington. I threw the colts as the random third game against an afc opponent. We also had a great game against another south team two years ago in Kelly green so I picked the Colts.

Black:

Home vs Seahawks

I have a feeling the Eagles want to wear black in prime time and I have a feeling that this game will be in prime time on Sunday Night Football. We also haven’t done to well in midnight green against Seattle so why not try something different.

EDIT: For those of you saying Kelly green on Thanksgiving, the cowboys don’t wear white on Thanksgiving. They wear their blue throwback jerseys. This game will be a white jersey game.

Why does SVG struggle more at COTA?

It’s the only road course he hasn’t won at in cup and the field is definitely closer to him on raw pace there. SVG is dominant at like every other road course in this country. I don’t really understand why though. COTA is the type of road course svg should dominate at since it’s very technical and svg’s biggest advantage outside of tire management skills is driving through technical corners. A part of me thinks Trackhouse/Stephen Doran just sucks at setting up cars for COTA because svg put on a clinic in the o’reilly race there this year. If you put svg in a 23XI car at Cota I think he would dominate.

Do you think Gordon will continue to do tv when he’s 70?

Gordon turns 60 this November so he’s not super old but he is starting to get up there I age where you have to think about how many years he has left before he calls it a quits.

I freaking love this man!!!

Kyle Busch ran well with Street as the crew chief at the end of 2025 and now Kyle has flipped the switch since Street has taken over this year. Hopefully they can keep up the good work and we see KFB running well frequently for the rest of this season and maybe compete for a win somewhere.

With his 23rd place finish at Watkins Glen, Kyle Larson will now go winless for the entire Fox portion of the season (in points races). Who had that on their bingo card!?

I know he’s been off since his Indy wreck last year, but damn, I thought he would win at least once before Prime takes over in late May and June.

I just had a couple of my friends try to argue in my group chat that NASCAR isn’t a sport which is really pissing me off!!!Why the hell are there still so many people that think this!?

They were saying things like “what are they doing that’s athletic?” and “all they do is drive cars fast in circles” I had to tell them that driving race cars requires extreme amounts of stamina, hand eye coordination, reaction time, and other things in order to keep the car on track and run competitively for 3-4 hours straight. Why are there still so many people that agree with Stephen A Smith that nascar isn’t a sport. This is such a brain dead take. If you put any average person into a stock car, or any race car for that matter they wouldn’t even be able to make it out of the pits, and if they did and you asked them to try to drive fast and make lap time they wreck immediately. At least with other sports like basketball, you could conceivably step onto the court and make a shot or in football you could make a catch and score a touchdown if the defense takes their eyes off of you or the qb throws a tight window pass to you.

Why is it that you rarely see any NY team fans takeover Eagles, Phillies, or Flyers games while NY fans take over the arena for Sixers games?

Philly is a top sports town in this country. I think our fans are way more dedicated and passionate than New York. We should never see fans take over any sporting event in Philly (and they don’t outside of the Knicks playing the Sixers) Most of their fans are just filthy rich folks. You never see Giants fans in the Linc for Birds games. It’s all Eagles all day! Anytime we go to MetLife, we take over their stadium and we have one of the best traveling fan bases in all of the NFL. It really pisses me off seeing these Knick fans in Philly. I’d love to know why this is mainly only a Sixers problem.

I know the sound of the car is one of the many other things that makes the car quite divisive amongst fans. I personally love the throaty, mean rumble sound of the car and how loud the car is in-person. Fox and TNT just do a terrible job of picking up the sound of the cars on their broadcasts so they sound like shit. It sounds good on NBC/Prime though.

Simple question, do you still like our quarterback?

This isn’t me trying to argue that he’s a perfect man, I just want see were the fanbase it at with him. Obviously he has short comings, but every qb, football player, and athlete has short comings in their game. But to me Jalen is a great qb and I think he’ll ball out in 2026 with Mannion, Devonta, Lemon, and Saquon. It pisses me off that his short comings get magnified to the degree they do despite the success he’s had in this league , when there’s other qb’s and athletes in general that have been less successful in their sports than Hurts and have clear shortcomings and limitations that should be magnified way more than Jalen’s but aren’t. To me the fact that people talk about Jalen all the time, shows that deep down inside they know Jalen is good. If someone was truly a bum or even mid then you wouldn’t really give a damn and talk about them.

Seems like he’s a little bit slimmer to me. What do y’all think. Guess he’s trying to get in better shape to run this year. Also sometimes, it’s a bit easier to sling the ball when you’re a little slimmer and your shoulders aren’t as broad.

The Sixers said that they would wear the classic black jerseys for all of the playoffs at home. Now we have to settle for a boring ass white jersey! 🤬
