Recently I have encountered with my VSA, Power Steering fault, and a AbS warning all at once.

When I brought it to a shop the scan came back as a short between two wheel sensors, I thought this was quite strange as the wiring seemed fine.

Checked my brake fluid also seemed fine

Then I found this hole it seems to have residue around it that smells important, like hydro fluid or engine oil

Location of hole below battery at about 10 o’clock position top down on a metallic case. Connected to belt

Should this hole be there? I feel like it would have been easy to spot? Or am I just over thinking
