It’s time to stop the silence. Whether it’s a stranger or someone close sexual assault is never the victim's fault!! Let’s break the stigma & support survivors. No means no every single time ✊

Correction**

According to the (WHO) & the CDC the scope of this crisis is staggering:

Women :Globally nearly 1 in 3 women (approx. 840 million) have experienced physical or sexual violence. In certain countries reporting suggests this number is even higher!

Men: Recent CDC data shows approximately 1 in 6 men in the US have experienced contact sexual violence.

Children: Roughly 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 20 boys are survivors of sexual abuse before the age of 18.

The Perpetrator: In over 80% of cases, he survivor knows their attacker. It is rarely a "stranger in the bushesh" most of the time it's a friend partner or family member

We must stand behind that

1. Clothing is never an invitation : No matter what someone wears they deserve safety.

2."IDK" / Silence / Intoxication =/= Consent : Consent must be enthusiastic, clear & continuous

3. COCSA (Childhood Onset Child Sexual Abuse) is a global epidemic that requires specific support & visibility

Sexual violence doesn't care about borders! Whether you are in Europe, Asia the Americas or Africa the stigma remains the biggest hurdle to justice. By sharing these truths we break that stigma!

You don’t need to be trans to support trans people! & TERFs are not feminists..sharing something weird I dealt with recently

Posting this bc the interaction genuinely confused me & kinda shows how people completely miss what feminism is about!!

Recently got a bunch of comments + modmail arguing that supporting trans people means “ignoring women’s safety"

Some of the takes were basically:

“I’m not transphobic I’m just Y chromosome phobic”

trans women being described as men invading spaces

saying feminism should only center biological women

& somehow calling that out became “silencing women’s voices"

Like… read that again....!!

**You don’t have to be trans to support trans people** That’s literally how EMPATHY works....!

Reducing people to chromosomes isn’t feminism it’s just bio essentialism!

Also saying “I’m just explaining why people think this way” while repeating harmful stereotypes is still spreading those ideas. That’s not neutral!!!

Feminism isn’t about gatekeeping who qualifies as a woman... It’s about fighting systems that harm people because of gender in the first place!! Intersectionality has been part of feminism for years now this isn’t new or controversial unless you’re stuck in exclusionary politics!!

Anyway sharing because apparently this still needs to be said in 2026:

**Excluding trans women doesn’t make feminism stronger it just makes it smaller**
