Hello, while on vacation to Captiva Island a few weeks ago- I bought this “fossilized great white tooth” at a farmers market from a vendor who was selling a variety of shells/stones/fossils and shark teeth. We chatted for some time and he seemed genuine. A lot of his things came with verification paperwork. Anyway- I ended up spending $80 on this. And I can’t tell if that’s a really good deal for something very cool (in my opinion) or if I was swindled out of $80 lol it has a good weight to it. He said that the color is what determines the age or fossilization. What do we think?
