Update on our rescue Malamute Penny
Yesterday marked a month since we rescued our beautiful 8 month old Malamute Penny (pictured left) from the shelter. In that time shes completely settled in to a routine, she went from being afraid to even go near a car to being excited to hop in and go for rides, it only took her about two weeks to get the hang of her potty training, and she gets along with my 5 year old male Maverick like they've lived together since the beginning. They're basically inseparable.
Her Embark DNA test came back showing she's pure Malamute too, which was a bit of a surprise.
She's stubborn, sassy, jealous, vocal, incredibly opinionated...and we love every bit of it!
