[2e] With how THAC0 and d20 rolls work, please explain to me the real difference between "bonus to your AC" vs "penalty to opponent's attack"
Folks at our table insist on differentiating between bonuses to AC and penalties to attacks, because of how THAC0 and rolling dice in general work - am I missing a real huge difference here, because for me they are essentially the same thing?!
