Mid 30s Dad: Starting the Denver Dad Group

Mid 30s dad in Arvada/Denver. My wife has had immense success with her Book Club, going across the Denver metro to discuss their books and becoming close friends eventually, doing crafts, etc. Since becoming a father in 2024 I admittedly have lost most of my social circle and I figured, why not just start something instead?

I checked out MeetUp and this subreddit and either I have terrible filters/search & interests or the UI is truly awful, but I could not really figure out if existing dad groups are real let alone active in Denver. My idea is basically, monthly, we rotate on different activities.

Month 1 - Outdoor Picnic/Chill at City Park, I can rent a pavilion and everyone just come hang out. Nothing serious for this one just bring some food and chat. I can bring some wiffle ball gear too!
Month 2 - Hobby Night at someone's house. Come showcase what niche hobby you're into (Titanic & Shipwrecks for me) and share with the group. Dinner/Drinks.
Month 3 - Jam & Music Night for anyone who plays something. Guitar, bass, drums, whatever you can pickup come play it. Those who don't play can bring their favorite playlist and we can chat.
Month 4 - Video Games meets Book Club and we pick one Single Player game to play that month and at the next meetup we talk about it.
Month 5 - Did someone say Improv Show?

Putting yourself out there for Dads can be hard, but I know a ton of Dads who, once becoming parents, feel like their purpose is only as a provider and lose a lot of sense of self and friendships so I figured I would try and post this here. We all need community. DM or comment if you're interested!
