Hi everyone!

I’ll be visiting Palma this August with my 1-year-old, and I’ve started looking into the restaurant scene. I have a few questions and would love some local advice:

- is it essential to book everything in advance, or can we just show up?

- I've noticed many places ask for credit card details when booking but don't ask for the guests' ages—just the number of people. Does this usually mean they’ll charge a penalty for no-shows, and can I generally cancel in advance without being charged?

- Are most restaurants in Palma welcoming to toddlers? I’ve seen some "adults-only" spots, but I'm worried about missing that info and showing up somewhere where we aren't welcome.

- Recommendations for good baby-friendly restaurants in or around Palma?

Any tips on navigating the city with a little one during the peak season would also be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
