The Who - Who's For Tennis? (1968) [Double LP]

The Who - Who's For Tennis? (1968) [Double LP]

Apparently, there were plans by the band to put out an album in '68 under that title, in Between The Who Sell Out (1967) and Tommy (1969). Using singles from prior years, outtakes and more, I came up with this:

Side A (16:34)

• The Last Time

• Sodding About

• Call Me Lightning

• Jaguar

• Man With Money

• Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Side B (18:27)

• Early Morning Cold Taxi

• Fortune Teller (2018 Mix) (couldn't find the original)

• Girl's Eyes

• In The Hall Of The Mountain King

• Doctor, Doctor

• Under My Thumb

Side C (17:00)

• Dogs

• Glittering Girl

• Melancholia (2018 Mix)

• Little Billy

• Pictures Of Lily

• Glow Girl (Incl. Track Records Commercial)

Side D (16:04)

• Summertime Blues

• Faith In Something Bigger

• Shakin' All Over (Take 3)

• Kids! Do You Want Kids (Pete Townshend Demo)

• Someone's Coming

• Magic Bus (Long Version/Mono)

Total Length (1:08:05)

They really should've released a 2nd record. Using outtakes from the all sessioms by the group, some Bobby Whitlock songs featuring the other members, live tracks and one Allman Brothers track, I made this:

Side A (22:44):

Bottle Of Red Wine (Live At Filmore East)

Where There's a Will

One More Chance

Till I See You Again (Bootleg)

Snake Lake Blues

The Scenery Has Slowly Changed

Side B (23:15):

Evil

Got To Get Better In A Little While (Jam)

Mean Old World

It's Hard To Find A Friend (Bootleg)

Roll It Over

Little Martha

Total Length (45:59)
