Are MRI scans focused on specific organs, or do they image the total area?

For example, when undergoing a scan (with contrast ) of the abdomen and pelvis (Renal cancer), could a radiographer see tissue and bone damage to other areas within the scanned area?

I’ve had MRI scans for the past 10 years (Abdomen and Pelvis with Contrast) monitor an ongoing medical condition. Each time, I’ve spent 50 minutes in the scanner observing the breathing instructions. A few days ago, I had my most recent scan and fell asleep inside the scanner due to exhaustion. I have no recollection of following any breathing instructions and was only inside the scanner for 25 minutes. When the cannula was being removed, the radiographer mentioned prompting me to breath but didn’t go into any detail. I did mention I couldn’t hear any voice commands as the music through the headphones was quite loud.

Is 25 minutes long enough to complete an MRI of the Abdomen and Pelvis with Contrast, and will the images be blurred? As I’m the UK (NHS) I have no direct contact with the radiographers and will have to wait until my consultant contacts me in the next month.
