Went to visit my parents. Dad's watching sports on some setup I've never seen. Tells me he pays $12/month for IPTV and canceled cable 6 months ago.

hi，I just got my first IPTV subscription and loaded the M3U link into my player.

I thought more channels meant a better deal, but I was so wrong. My playlist has like 95,000 channels. It took my Firestick 10 minutes just to load the list, and now the whole app is super laggy.

The biggest issue is that 90% of these channels are from countries I don't live in and languages I don't speak. I just want my local English channels, but I have to scroll through thousands of random international categories just to find a basic news or entertainment channel.

How do you guys deal with this?

• Do I really have to sit here and manually hide 80,000 channels one by one in the app settings?
• Is there a third-party website where I can edit my IPTV link before putting it into my TV?
• Or is this just what you have to deal with when cutting the cord?

Any tips for a beginner would be hugely appreciated!

Not sure if this is coming from TiviMate or my device.

When I’m watching a channel and don’t touch the remote for a while, the screen slightly dims like it’s going into some kind of idle mode. Stream keeps playing fine, just gets darker.

Running this on a Fire TV Cube.
Is there a setting inside TiviMate for this or is it a Fire TV thing?
