Kaiser Physical Therapy Sucks

I’m extremely disappointed with the level of care I’ve received from Kaiser Physical Therapy following my Achilles rupture and rerupture. Being scheduled for just one appointment per month during such a critical recovery period is simply not adequate. Rehabilitation after this type of injury requires consistent monitoring, progression, and guidance—none of which I experienced.

Even more frustrating, my therapy program was never meaningfully updated. I was essentially left doing the same exercises without any clear progression or reassessment of my recovery. It felt like there was no personalized plan or attention to my specific needs.

Communication was also a major issue. Messages went unanswered, and there was no sense of support or follow-through from the therapist. When you’re recovering from a serious injury, timely feedback and accessibility matter, and that was completely lacking.

Overall, I felt like I was left to manage my recovery on my own, which defeats the purpose of physical therapy. I expected a much higher standard of care and support, especially from a provider like Kaiser.
