Can I go to HR for compensation review
This is the 3rd year I haven’t received a hike. My skips are really difficult to work with and there’s a lot of politics at skips level. I am fed up and frustrated. Can I ask hr to review and ask them team change atleast?
The first year 2023 i wasn’t eligible as a new joinee, 2024 mgr changed and he put me in focus so no hike. 2025 mgr changed twice. He told me i dont know much about u or ur work so i could not fight for exceeds and just accepted whatever the skip said. and finally 2026- again a mgr change - they gave some random excuse and didnt even fight for exceeds for my scorecard and left it on my newly joined mgr(2months) to take care of the olr when she had no idea of the process or the team) and my old mgr didnt even have a review call just released the comp after last date.
I have started looking out for roles and by the time i get something outside am thinking why not move internally and away from this psychopath team. Im just losing it every single day and they have the audacity to tell you are not motivated enough, you should have determination. To hell with that :/.
If I do go to hr, should I inform my mgr beforehand or just directly speak to them?
