There are MULTIPLE Caseoh cameos in that game and Mark was completely caught off guard if not slightly put off by straight up Twitch footage appearing in his horror slop. I love Case and I think it’s funny when he shows up in games, but this was the first time I’d seen a cameo from him in a gameplay vid that wasn’t his. It just felt so fucking lazy and desperate for that “Ah HAHAHAHA [deep breath] YOOO W DEV CHAT. W dev. Yo dev I ‘preciate that!” YouTube short.

It’s not even something clever like putting Case’s face on a pizza box or a wanted poster. It’s just straight up Twitch clips. It’s reaching circlejerk levels. Not to mention ALL of these games look and play exactly the same. We’ve gotten to the point where Case himself is able to recognize stock locations and say “Yo chat this is that same restaurant from [insert PSX horror slop game #368]” It’s so tired and boring to watch. The characters walk at a snail’s pace to stretch out the gameplay time and half of the “plot” and dialogue is AI generated, because they devs know Caseoh will play it, say “W devs that was good chat!”

I get that rent is due, but… god it’s the death of creativity and innovation.

I didn’t realize it until I watched Markiplier play Pawn Shop, but I think Case is actively making indie horror worse.

It would’ve been cool if Optimus and Megatron did the TF Prime intro punch at the start of their battle in TF One. Feels like a missed opportunity to parallel the multiple fist bumps through the movie.

I’m watching Gen V season 2 for the first time, and Cipher is SUCH a good villain, especially compared to the five different lame ducks from season 1.
