Just wanted to share our little meet up this afternoon. My wife put it together. It was great to see everyone out, old, young, women and men. I was spinning Poi myself, but I've seen first hand how much fun people have had with the ring.
It started with a small group, just a handful. And little by little word got around and sometimes it turns into a good bunch of folks, hooping, and having fun like the one we had today.
Damn it feels good when you finally stick it. For weeks I've been trying to hit the 3 beat weave reverse. It finally clicked a couple weeks back. And yesterday I was playing a little with working out the transition from forward to backward. No luck, but today. Boom bam, bingo!!!
Struck gold. Didn't realize the first umbrella was in the way LoL. Regardless, just wanted to share some progress and motivation to keep practicing. Some moves come easy and some, take a little banging yourself up and down before it finally smooths out.

I'm addicted to it haha. And still working on cleaning up my arm extensions and flowers. I need a lot of work still, but going over some old footage. I don't look as clumsy and awkward as I once did LoL

Weather's been lovely as of late. Spring is finally here!! I woke up early, rode out to the sea and dived into some meditation. And boy it dit it feel good out. Checking in to share some of my own progress amongst the Immaculate Spinners I've seen in here.
