News Tamil 24x7 shared a reel highlighting TVK MLA Thendral Kumar (KV Kuppam) arriving at the assembly by government bus without slippers, emphasizing a humble image. Original Caption (Tamil):

"என்னிடம் கார் இல்லை.. காலில் செருப்பு கூட இல்லாமல் அரசு பேருந்தில் சட்டசபைக்கு வருகை தந்து அசர வைத்த கேவி குப்பம் தவெக MLA தென்றல் குமார்" English

Translation:

"I don't have a car.. Thendral Kumar, the TVK MLA from KV Kuppam who astonished everyone by arriving at the assembly in a government bus without even slippers on his feet."

Fact Check Note:

According to his election affidavit, Thendral Kumar has declared movable and immovable assets worth approximately ₹2.8 Crore (with liabilities of around ₹42 Lakh).

Details: Appointment dated: May 12, 2026 This is a paid government position using public funds.
