Saline to glide? Advice needed
I got a Dr Pen hydra pen H5. I am a complete noob to microneedling. I read a lot about using serums and such, but I also read that you can use sterile saline... I know when I got my piercing I was instructed to spray the area with saline. So it should be safe to use?
What are your thoughts on that??
I read a lot about what to think about when microneedling. Clean properly, sanitizer, use gloves, don't drag needles, I even read a tattoo artist saying it's probably a good idea to make sure the skin is tight, so apply a bit of pressure? I also read about when to stop using active and when to start using them again. I also read about needle depth and such...
But yeah... I want to try using my Hydra Pen this weekend (I got the thing a month ago) and I am kind of scared. Because what speed to use, how to move the device over my skin, how to hold it... Those are things I can't read up about or know unless I try... I might be overthinking it...
I am losing weight and I want to get ahead of loose skin as much as I can. So that is my goal more or less. I will be using the pen on my stomach, arms and thighs. Also my face to improve texture.
I am grateful for any additional advise.
